The Role of Software in Revenue Assurance...Is it worth it?

Software and Revenue Assurance. What an interesting combination they make. A lot of people believe that the right software can solve the majority of their revenue assurance problems. Others believe that software just gets in the way of the real job of revenue assurance.
 
There are some pretty strong arguments to be made on either side of this issue, but one thing is for sure. EVERYONE has strong feelings about it one way or another, and everyone things that they have a unique and powerful insight into how software should fit.
 
No matter what you might personally feel about the issue, it is important that you understand BOTH SIDES of the issues, both to help you to make better decisions and TO HELP YOU ARM YOURSELF when the budget battles begin.
