Bio Information:
Wessel has been working in telecommunications since 1979 and has been involved with Mobile companies since 1999. His work experience includes telecommunication systems operations, deployment of telecommunication systems, and project management for the implementation of Wireless Local loop systems and telecommunications research.

Wessel has been instrumental in launching the Town Hall meetings discussing standards for the revenue assurance professional for the Southern Africa Region.  During 2008, a series of four such meetings were held for the region.

Wessel is married, and has two children.
