Chairperson Profile: Mohammad Eter

Title: Standards Committee Chairperson Bio Information: As a chairperson for the Standards Committee, Mohammad will be working with the GRAPA community to develop theGRAPA Standards and methodology. Mohammad has a solid background in the investigation and analysis of revenue loss and demand. In 2002 Mohammad attended Arab American University-Jenin where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunication Technology Engineering. In November of 2006 he transferred to Amman-Jordan to serve as Quality Assurance and system implementation specialist in "MASAQ.” For this USAID project he improved the automation process in the Jordanian courts through network, hardware, and software testing and development. In 2007 he went back to Palestine to work in "Jawwal,” Palestine Cellular Company as a Risk Operations Administrator /Technical Revenue Assurance. During this time he earned GRAPA certification for Best Practices in Revenue Assurance, and in 2009 and he attended GRAPA’s advanced management event to earn he CMRAM (Certified Master of Revenue Assurance Management). His development in the company progressed until he was appointed as Senior Revenue Assurance Analyst. In this role, he heads the testing committee for adopting any new nod on the network, Participaties in the RFP committee before adopting any new nod/ system that might affect traffic or CDR flow, conducts risk evaluation for new products. He is also responsible for creating controls to auditnew services and systems added to the GSM system and developing new tasks for the Revenue Assurance department. Beyond leading the GRAPA standards committee, Mohammad also maintains his relationship with his university professors and their students. He provides the professors with insights into the “real world” and helps them determine course content. Additionally, he advises students about the courses they should take and how they can maximizes benefit from these courses. |
